Strong in research: All projects at bachelor's, master's and doctoral level are based on current research carried out by our research groups.
A joint research focus: Our research groups share a joint research focus on methods and systems used to visualise, analyse, explore and process large information spaces.
Specialisation: We offer various study profiles and areas of specialisation in the Bachelor's and Master's programmes. In the Bachelor's program you can specialize in the following areas: Data Science, Visual Computing or Interactive Systems. In the Master's program, you have even more study profiles to fit your interests.
Superb student-supervisor ratio: About 500 students have access to personal supervision from more than 15 professors and more than 90 members of academic staff. In addition, we support you in "arriving" at your studies with various support and advisory services.
International: Many different exchange options at departmental level in Europe and worldwide; between 30-40% of our master's students and arround 15% of our undergraduate students are international degree-seeking students

The “Advanced Data and Information Literacy Track” (ADILT) is a cross-disciplinary programme on data and information literacy for students of all subjects alongside their study programmes.
